Network Administrator Position - Unity Christian High School is seeking applications for a Network Administrator for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time salaried position. To learn more about the position contact Mr. Wayne Dykstra at 712-737-4114 or at wdykstra@unitychristian.net.
PARENTS: if you know your student will be gone any days during the last week of school before Christmas break (Dec 19, 20, 21, finals week), please let the office know as soon as possible of their absence. This way they won’t be overwhelmed with calls and emails that week! Thank you!
EXAM SCHEDULE CHANGE FORMS - if you need to change exam slots, forms are in the office. Deadline to turn forms in is Thursday, December 15 at NOON.
“Sarah, Plain and Tall” - Sign up for auditions for the spring show in Ms. Van Dyke's room. Pick up audition material there too. You will need to prepare 3 things. The sign up deadline is Friday.
NW Iowa Honor Orchestra: Congratulations to the following students for being selected to the 2023 NW Iowa Honor Orchestra. These students will rehearse and perform on January 26 at Northwestern College. Violin: Brianna Bakker, Autumn Bousema, Corrie De Vries, Caitlin Frens, Avery Mouw, Reagan Noteboom, Laura Ross; Viola: Jaiden Kooima, JoyLyn Vande Berg, Lydia Vander Werff; Cello: Benjamin Ploegstra, Carson Noteboom, Brynn Vanden Brink; Bass: Jocelyn Muilenburg.
Christmas Concert - The Unity Christian High School Music Department invites you to join them for an evening of music focused on the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 (note time change) in the Knight Center. The concert will feature the choirs, symphonic band and orchestra, and ending with the singing and playing of the Hallelujah Chorus. Please join us for an evening filled with the musical joy recognized as part of the Christmas season.
The Booster Club will have the Knight store open at all of the following home games until Christmas break: December 6, 8, 13 and 20. So if you need to do some Christmas shopping come check out the apparel we have on hand. There are also some special items that have arrived for the holiday season: Wearable blankets (Comfy Hoodie), bleacher seats, Under Armor backpacks, scarfs, cinch sacks and Yeti mugs. All these items of course, are Unity designed. Come see us in the Knight store to finish up your Christmas shopping. Quiz Bowl Results: Last Saturday 2 of our teams competed at the Spirit Lake Quiz Bowl. Our Varsity team of Isaac Krommendyk, MyKayla Zylstra, Iain Monroe, and Dylan Koelewyn tied for third in their division. Our JV team of Hezekiah Hanson, Reagan Van Beek, Elijah Nyenhuis, and Jacen Huizenga fought their way to first place in their division. Congratulations, teams!
