UNITY FAMILY: Thank you to all the families that have sent in pictures for the family tree in our Courtyard. If you haven’t sent your’s in, please do so! We have plenty of room! Our goal is to get to know the names and faces of our 225 Unity families. If you have a split household, we would like photos of both families. Please send digital pictures and names to aobbink@unity.pvt.k12.ia.us. Thank you for your help! We look forward to receiving your photo!
STUDENTS: If you would like to purchase a second locker, you may do so. Stop by the office and pay $10. Your money will go towards a ministry chosen by the student council.
GAME CLUB: Game Club is held every other Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 in the cafeteria and anyone is welcome. We play games such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Carcasonne, Puerto Rico, Camel Up, Blokus, Chess, etc. Any questions, see Mrs. Kaemingk. Bring your friends! Next date is Sept 28!
FRIDAY NIGHT TAILGATE: Dordt University is sponsoring this weeks tailgate. They will be serving Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Chips, Cookies, and Beverages. Freewill Donations supporting the Unity Booster Club.
Cross Country Results from Storm Lake
Varsity Girls-7th out of 11 teams. Medalists include Jaidyn De Jong in 13th and Abby Klompien in 24th.
JV Girls-4th out of 7 teams. Medalists include Kyra Van Schouwen in 16th.
Varsity Boys-3rd out of 10 teams. Medalists include Ethan Wynia in 15th place, Jonathan Breems in 16th place, and Stephen Schreurs in 21st place.
JV Boys-3rd out of 8 teams. Medalists include Jesse Huisman in 1st place, Joren Vande Griend in 8th place, Jean Maletoungou in 10th place, and Braden Zevenbergen in 18th place.
