Sports Report

Congratulations to the Unity Girls Golf Team who qualified for state! They placed 2nd in their tournament yesterday. Laura Beltman placed 2nd and Kerri Kroeze placed 3rd.


V Softball and baseball lost their games against Remsen St. Mary’s and JV Boys won.


Announcements

Volleyball Meeting: There will be a short meeting for all girls interested in playing volleyball next year at afternoon break in Mrs. Goslinga's room today.


The office will be closing at noon on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and will be closed Memorial Day.


Summer Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Closed on Fridays.


Student Council: Do you know the muffin man? Well, he lives right across from freshman hallway where he’s selling mini muffins for a new low price of two muffins for only 40 cents! That’s less than a quarter a muffin! What a deal! Or, if you’re feeling hungry, take advantage of our six for a dollar deal. That’s six whole muffins for one dollar! Who else can give you that great of a deal? So stop by the student council coffee shop during afternoon break for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!


Sioux Center Bus Route is the only one running at noon on Wednesday and Thursday. Please find your own way home those days. All bus routes will be running on Friday.


Class Prom Pictures are in and can be picked up in the office. If you did not order one and would like one, there are extra. They are $15 and need to be paid to Generations.


Lost and Found: There is a table with LOTS of lost and found. Also, locker rooms need to be cleared out. If items are not picked up by Tuesday, May 25 it will be donated to Bibles for Missions. Please help our janitors out and bring your stuff home! Thank you!


If you are planning on participating in our summer athletic training program you should plan to be at school at the time that has been set for your grade level and gender next week Monday or Tuesday to get your weight maxes set. If you have questions please talk to Mr. VanKempen.

May 24: 10th & 11th boys—Weight lifting max. 6:30-7:15 am and 9th boys— Weight lifting max. 7:15-8:00 am

May 25: 10th & 11th girls—Weight lifting max. 6:30-7:15 am and 9th girls—Weight lifting max. 7:15-8:00 am
