Tuesday Announcement: Balcony and the main gym are off limits on Tuesday 12/9 due to our first home basketball game.

Locker Rooms: Old locker rooms need to be cleaned out by morning break tomorrow (TUESDAY - 12/9) due to our first home basketball game.

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Meat Donations for School Lunch Program: Unity is seeking beef and pork donations from local farmers to support our school lunch program. Unity will cover all processing fees. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Wayne Dykstra at wdykstra@unitychristian.net.

Mom’s In Prayer: Join us on Tuesdays (12-1pm) in the "Officials' room" across from Mr. Van Kempen's office. Here's more information. Hope you will join us in prayer!

Parents & Students: Things to keep in mind for semester exams:

Students don’t have to be here until their exam time.
Once here, students cannot leave the building until their exams for the day are done. If they have an exam the first and third exam periods of the day, they cannot leave the building in between testing times.

Exam change forms are on the shelf in the office by the phone. Turn into the office or Mr. Holwerda. They are due back to the office by Wednesday, Dec 10 @ Noon.

SPORTS

Gehlen Basketball Game Thursday, Dec. 11: Gehlen only accepts cash at the gate. No credit card payment available.

Dance Team: On December 4-5 the Unity Christian Dance Team competed at the ISDTA State Championships in Des Moines in three categories: Novelty Class III, Hip Hop Class V and M.I.X. Class II. The team scored a Division 1 rating in all three performance categories! A Division 1 rating is the highest rating and signifies an outstanding performance. The team also received a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in recognition of maintaining a team grade point average of 3.5-4.0.
