Powder Puff Game - Monday, September 28: Get ready for a fun night of Powder Puff football! Admission for both players and spectators is canned goods, which will be donated to the Hope Food Pantry.
Powder Puff Sign-up deadline: Friday, September 18
Junior and senior girls: sign-ups to play in this year’s Powder Puff game are now available in the office.
Junior and senior guys on the football team: coaching sign-ups are also available in the office.
Get signed up, bring your friends and family, and come out for a fun night of Powder Puff. If you have any questions feel free to contact Ms. Vander Kooi or Emily Oordt.
Game Club: Game Club will be starting on Wednesday, September 16. This is open to all students. We will meet in the cafeteria from 3:30-4:30 PM. Quiz Bowl: Quiz Bowl is an academic competition involving all areas of knowledge. Practices take place during lunch on Wednesdays. Meets take place on Saturdays throughout the school year. If you are interested in participating, sign up outside Mrs. De Groot’s room. If you would like more information, talk to Mrs. De Groot.

Snacks for Professional Development Fridays
When our students have 1:30 dismissals on Fridays, our teachers gather together for professional development. We have been blessed with wonderful snacks for our teachers on these days in recent years, and we are again seeking volunteers this year. Emergency Kitchen Workers Needed: Parents, there are days when we have a need for emergency workers in the kitchen. Sick days, appointments and an occasional vacation day leave us searching for a “sub” for a day here and there. Would you consider being on an emergency list for days like these? The commitment would be to work from 11:30-1pm. You would receive a complimentary meal and a $15 credit to your child’s lunch account. You can always say “no” when we call. Thanks for considering.
