The meet was canceled because of lightning so nothing beyond the 200m raced.

Boys team had an abbreviated track meet because of the weather. Highlights include:

Unity Christian was awarded the WEC Sportsmanship Award for all athletics this year! Great job on showing good sportsmanship throughout the year!


BOOSTER CLUB GATE AND CONCESSION WORKERS NEEDED. As we enter the baseball and softball season for this school year, the Booster Club is in need of concession and gate workers for these games. CLICK HERE for the link to sign up if you are able to help.

Teacher Appreciation Week - This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please consider sending a note of appreciation to the teachers that have impacted your child. Your child’s teachers are the ones who inspire and guide them to become future leaders and open their eyes beyond academics. Teachers also help to instill values, shape character and empower our children to pursue their dreams and make a positive difference in the world. Here at Unity, our top-notch team of teachers help fulfill our mission by guiding and equipping young people to serve both God and neighbor in all aspects of life. THANK YOU TEACHERS!


STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS FOR 23-24: Students, we are accepting applications for Student Council for the 23-24 school year. If you are a returning student and are interested in serving as a class representative on the Student Council, please stop by the office for an application. Incoming Seniors, you may also use the same application to apply for President of Student Council. You do not need previous experience to serve. All spots on the student council are open for next year. Current members will also need to re-apply. Applications are due May 9!


2023-24 ONE ACT AUDITIONS: Auditions for next fall's One Act will be on May 16 at 3:40. All people auditioning will audition together. If you cannot make this time, talk to Ms. Van Dyke to work out another time.


LIFE SERVE BLOOD DRIVE @ Unity is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17 from 9:00-1:30. Scan the QR code on the posters around school to register. Students 16-17 years old must obtain parent permission. Permission slips available in the office.


TULIP FESTIVAL: Rope holders are needed for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 18, 19, & 20, during the Tulip Festival, Please contact the Orange City Police Department at 707-4885 if you would like to help.


OPEN POSITIONS FOR 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR:

Bus Route Driver - Unity Christian is looking to hire a bus driver for the 2023-2024 school year. Please contact Terry Schouten at 712-737-4114 or at tschouten@unitychristian.net for more information.

Kitchen Staff (new) - This hourly position will begin in the 3rd week of August and go through to the end of the 23-24 school year in the 4th week of May. Work hours are expected to be from 10am until 1:30pm each day. To learn more about the position contact Mrs. Becky Scholten at 712-737-4114 or at bscholten@unitychristian.net.
