Thank you for your continued support of our school meal program. We are currently seeing an increase in negative lunch account balances and would like to ask that any outstanding balances be paid as soon as possible. Beginning February 9, 2026, families will no longer be able to pre-order meals if their lunch account has a negative balance. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for improving the meal program, please feel free to contact me at mreinke@unitychristian.net.

Men’s Bible Study: Join us starting February 6th from 7:30 - 8:20 AM in Mr. Mouw’s room for a 6 week men’s Bible study. Males from all grades are welcome! Girls Soccer Meeting: If you are interested in or planning on playing soccer this spring, please come to the meeting on Saturday, Feb 21 at 9:00am in Room 124 (Mrs. Nyenhuis's room). If you have questions or can't attend, please talk to Mrs. Nyenhuis.
State Large Group Speech Results: Our two groups that competed at State on Saturday (2/7) both received straight 1 ratings! All-State nominations will be announced this afternoon (2/9). Congratulations on outstanding performances at State!

Pops Concert:Â On Tuesday, Feb. 17, the music department from Unity Christian High School will present "Modern Moments and Timeless Tunes," a pops concert featuring hits from a variety of beloved songs spanning multiple decades. All music groups will perform in the Knight Center beginning at 7:00 pm. A free-will donation will be received.
Unity FFA Fruit Sales: Our annual Unity FFA fruit sales are now halfway complete! If you would still like to place an order, please contact tvanommeren@unity.pvt.k12.ia.us and we will connect you with a student who can send you a purchase link. The sale ends on Friday, February 20, and fruit will be delivered on March 17.
Track & Field practice starts February 23 for both boys and girls. If your son or daughter is planning to participate, please make sure they are registered in Bound and have taken the Impact test. Instructions for Bound and the link for the Impact test can be found on the Resource Board in Blackbaud.
Meat Donations for School Lunch Program: Unity is seeking beef and pork donations from local farmers to support our school lunch program. Unity will cover all processing fees. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Wayne Dykstra at wdykstra@unitychristian.net.
NEW - Jr. Knights Boys Soccer:Â Join our Jr. Knights boys soccer program this spring! Boys currently in 7th & 8th grade are welcome to join and sign up! Practices will begin in February. As we enter tournament season in basketball, here are a few reminders:
Shirts and shoes are required
Actions that will result in ejection:
Use of artificial signs, banners, fatheads and noisemakers (airhorns, cowbells, keys, thundersticks, megaphones, etc.)
Disrespectful conduct, including verbal or written profanity, obscene gestures or comments, offensive remarks or signs of a sexual nature, or other vulgar actions that demean individuals or the event
Throwing articles onto the contest area
Entering the contest area in protest or celebration
Physical confrontation involving contest officials, coaches/directors, contestants, or spectators
Use of laser light pens
