STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Quiz Bowl results from Saturday, January 10 at Boyden-Hull:  Our varsity team of William Breems, Dylan Kramer, Josh Mouw, and Jacob Ross took second place, losing in the Championship Round in a winner-take-all question (they were tied at the end of the regular game). Our other varsity team of Ryan Muilenburg, Mikaiah Pennings, Brayden Schoellerman, and Layne Vos took 3rd place. In the JV division, our team of Ben Hummel, Lane Van Holland, Cody Vis, and Aidan Vos took 5th.

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sophomore Parents: January 20th we will have the annual Sophomore Soup Supper. You should have gotten an email today with a sign up sheet to help with putting this event together. We are asking that each family sign up for 1 slot of your choosing. 

January Tuition Statement & ESA Funds: January statements are available in Blackbaud Billing. Please take time to log into Blackbaud and look at your statement. Also note that your spring ESA amount is ready for you to approve. Please click the link in the Odyssey email you received to verify your tuition amount! Questions? Reach Out 2026: On Friday, January 30, 2026, Unity and MOC-FV will be playing basketball games at MOC-FV. 

• This night is bigger than basketball. It is a night we call Reach Out. Reach Out started 14 years ago as a way for our two schools to work together to raise funds for families in our community who are in need. Each year we give out over $10,000 to families who are experiencing high medical costs. One of the primary ways we raise funds is by selling shirts with business sponsors listed on the back. 

• Please use THIS order form to order your shirts. We know you have a lot of Unity apparel, but these are shirts with a purpose. Please consider supporting our efforts by ordering one or more shirts. Orders are due TODAY by midnight.

Meat Donations for School Lunch Program: Unity is seeking beef and pork donations from local farmers to support our school lunch program. Unity will cover all processing fees. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Wayne Dykstra at wdykstra@unitychristian.net.
