Parents, consider joining the UCHS Booster Club Board of Directors! As a board member, you'll help support all student extracurricular activities, strengthen our school community, and build connections among families. Congratulations to Sam Kamp, Amalia Visser, Autumn Bousema, Kendra Breems, and Eden Moreau for qualifying for the National History Day competition in Washington DC! Their performance is about an unethical study that separated twins and triplets at birth without their knowledge in the 1960s and 1970s. Also, congratulations to Addy Ochsner and Caitlin Frens for being alternate qualifiers for their exhibit on the Chicago Tylenol Murders. Great job to all the participants, and thanks for representing Unity well!


UC Chicks: UC Chicks, a business run by the Ag Business class, is going to be selling Cornish Cross Broiler Chickens. There are 130 butchered chickens for sale. If you would like to purchase a butchered chicken please fill out this google form: https://forms.gle/VuUPNPXWrscNXMcWA. Orders are due May 5. Free will donation with a suggested price of $3/per pound will be due when you pick up your chicken(s) from Unity. Follow @uc_chicks on Instagram for weekly updates on the chickens and other news!


FFA Plant Sale - Missed the early bird plant sale? Come to our Mother’s Day sale on Friday, May 9 3:30-5:30 pm and Saturday, May 10 from 9:00-noon. Cost is free-will donation. Baskets, potted plants, and 6-packs of flowers and vegetables will be available. Please invite your friends, family and neighbors!

Clean-a-thon is Wednesday!

Wednesday, April 30 is Unity's annual Clean-a-thon Fundraiser. The students will be working in their Living Groups to clean up ditches in Sioux County.

Students:

Bring a sack lunch to eat before heading out at 12:45.

Please bring gloves and wear old shoes.


2025-2026 Student Council Applications: Interested in planning cool events for the whole student body? Want to be a part of an amazing group of students that gets together and plans out new ideas for the school year? Join Student Council! Applications will be in the office from April 28-May 1. Get them filled out, signed, and turned into Ms. Vander Kooi.


ESA application window is OPEN! Click HERE to apply and get more information on ESAs. Deadline to apply is Monday, June 30, 2025. You must reapply every year for the ESA, so even if you qualified last year, you must submit an application each year.
